St Johns Window Centre are leading the way for compliance in the Double Glazing Industry, for Worcestershire.
All construction products will need to be CE Marked from July 2013, we have already started this process and will be ready in time. We are also working towards new Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) with National Fenestration College.

A lot of companies locally are claiming Energy Rated Windows, if they have a registered product, it will be listed on web site of BFRC, CERTASS or BSI. You can check our products at www.bfrc.org
Glass sales and quotations now processed on same system as window sales, completing the integrated office system.
Composite Door sales increased by 50%. Planitherm Glass sales increased to obtain best thermal performance products.

BFRC Saga 2010 into 2011
We have at long last got our products listed correctly, we will now fit labels to frames for compliant purposes. This saga took from 13th September 2010 to 14th January 2011 to complete, (should have taken 4 weeks)
To achieve Window Energy Rating products have taken a lot of time but confirms St Johns Window Centre as market leaders manufacturing windows in Worcester.
Window Energy Ratings (WER) are the industry standard for compliance of revised building regulations since October 2010
Please note some companies are reporting to sell "A" , "B" or "C" Rated windows it they can not show you label and paperwork trail they have not got an Energy Rated Window.

St Johns Window Centre are also EN14351 compliant and can declare U values of doors we manufacture.
2010 ended up as good sales year with full order book taken into 2011 no doubt partly due to customers ordering to beat VAT increase.

Swiss spacer warmedge units
Manufacturing Job using Solaglas Planitherm Total (soft coat Low E) glass with argon cavity - warm edge spacer bar and Pilkington Activ Blue (self cleaning and solar control in one). The Best of both manufacturers brought together and manufactured in Worcester.
We also moved Showroom and updated this web site with some great results
St Johns Church in need of all our help to save the bell tower they have raised £190,000 need £200,000. Lets all help and keep the centre of our community alive with the sound of the bells. Fantastic effort.
